Baker Hughes issued their international rig count data, here is the breakdown:
The international rig count for June is 824, up 7 units from the count in May and up 66 units from the 758 counted in June 2021.
Latin America is up 5 units to 160 from the May count of 155 and is up 17 units year over year.
The Asia-Pacific region is up 3 units to a total of 196 and is up 13 units from its year-ago average of 183.
Africa is up 2 units to a total of 78 from the May count of 76 units and up 13 units from its June 2021 average of 65.
Europe is up 8 units to a total of 87 from the May count of 79 units, and down 18 units year-over-year.
The Middle East is down 11 units to a total of 303 from the May count of 314 units, and up 41 units year-over-year.
